Good quality imagery is essential for artists when making submissions and documenting their work. This workshop offers a practical introduction to photographing your own paintings, drawing, textiles and prints for use in portfolios, websites, etc. Marilyn Gaffney offers a step-by-step methodical process to obtaining the best possible results with your manual camera and digital camera. It is about getting the very best quality results from the equipment you have. The course will cover; exposure, white balance, depth of field, jpg quality, resolution of images, tripod use and more.

Participants are encouraged to bring piece of their own art work to photograph.
It is optional for participants to bring in their digital camera or manual camera. There will be equipment available to use at the workshops provided by Cavan Arts Office.
