NYAH Cavan Comhaltas holds their NYAH Awards 2017 In Cavan County Museum, Ballyjamesduff on Sunday 23 July at 3pm

Ceremony to Outstanding Youth musicians & singers of the NYAH Tradition

Presented by Michael Curran & Cathal Lynch Co Tyrone

 

Awards for NYAH members who learned

The 25 reels, outstanding Solo performance, trad Singer -Most Improved session player, dancer of the Year, performer of Year & Irish speaker.

 

This Award will be part of the Shetland & Irish Session in Cavan Co Museum Ballyjamesduff at 3 pm with Sheltand’s Neill Hall & NYAH Branch Performing 

Neill Hall: Sings and plays Octave mandolin which brings a new dimension to the Shetland traditional sound. A talented song writer as well as guitarist and fiddler. Neill has played and toured for many years with the Shetland Fiddlers and was a founder member of Square Da Mizzen.

Starts at 3 pm -4.30 pm
