Listowel Visual Arts Week

Listowel Visual Arts Week

The inaugural Listowel Visual Arts Week’ takes place from June 20th– 24th 2018.  Coinciding with the summer solstice, the international fine art festival will celebrate the work of visual artists, and harness our collective energies to collaborate, learn and create.

Listowel Visual Arts Week welcomes the return of many former Olive Stack Gallery Artists in Residence to teach workshops, exhibit and reunite with friends in Listowel – the creative home of this growing international family of artists! The festival will mark the 20th anniversary of Olive Stack Gallery (Est 1998), celebrate the residency and the growing and thriving visual arts scene in the heritage town of Listowel, Co Kerry, Ireland.

Program of events coming soon, to include exhibitions, paint outs, workshops and much much more!

Listowel  Visual Arts Week is organized by a committed group of Volunteers, dedicated to enriching Listowels already thriving cultural standing.

Festival would not be possible without the generosity of past and future artists in residence along with friends of LVAW, many of whom have kindly donated artwork for our fundraising Auction.  Artists travel from all over the world to create and be inspired by life in Lovely Listowel through the Olive Stack Gallery Artists Residency. If you wish to make a donation to Listowel Visual Arts Week it would be very much appreciated.
