Who is it for?
This workshop is aimed at artist facilitators, carers and staff who work with young people in an arts context.
What is the focus?
The arts and childhood, the arts and personal development.
As our own 'first client' we will look at issues of personal development professional boundaries and self trust.
Materials such as collage and clay will be offered.
How will it benefit the participants?
Reflective practice and projective techniques foster self awareness and confidence and can be adapted to the engagement with young people.
Julie Aldridge has taught the MA in Art Therapy at Crawford College of Art and Design since 2000 and has extensive experience of delivering workshops for different interest groups.
