
CÉILÍ House, one of RTÉ Radio's most popular programmes of traditional Irish music and song, comes to Backyard Arts Center Moynehall Ballyjamesduff Road Cavan Town on Sunday 22nd Oct for a 2 pm start as presenter Kieran Hanrahan and producer Aidan Butler travel to the NYAH Land Drumlins to record many of the regions finest performers in lovely Setting of Terry Crowes Backyard Arts Centre .
NYAH Festival who are celebrating fifteen years of Traditional music arts activities have gathered together some of the artists of the area who have put this region on the international map of traditional music.
Taking part in the programme with NYAH Festival Band will be:
Eamon Mc Givney Fiddler from Granard,Tyrone’s Cathal Lynch and Mullahoran’s Hannah O Reilly will provide the live recording with some Traditional songs.
Derrys Jack Warnock guitar, Molly Walls Antrim Fiddler, Kevin Meehan Dublin Whistle & Bodhran, Adamar O Connor Offaly’s multiple Fleadh Cheoil Winner on Fiddle.
Co Cavan’s finest youth will all be recorded including, Ellen Grant, Oisin Mc Corry, Zoran Donohoe on Accordions & Concertina.
Flute & Whistle Inc 2017 All Ireland Double fleadh Winner Barry Conaty, Savannah Donohoe & Jack Grant.
Fiddle’s & Pipes Grainne & Daniel Brady, Seán Curran All Ireland Fleadh Pipe runner up.
Martin Donohoe accordion & Kavan Donohoe on Harp who’s just returned from America will complete the line up for what will be a lively and entertaining evening of NYAH music and song.
