Talented Kilnaleck Artist, Mairead Lynch is staging a comprehensive range of her works in the Castlepollard Arms Restaurant during the entire month of May. The exhibition will be launched this Friday evening 3rd May at 8pm and this is a wonderful opportunity to see at first hand the awesome creativity of Mairead’s work. There will be a nice relaxed a convivial atmosphere and tasty refreshments.
This is her fifth exhibition and up to fifty paintings will be on show and will showcase her exciting new works together with paintings created over the last few years.
One of her new paintings depicts her unique insight into Baptism in the Holy Spirit and Mairead explains “it illustrates the feeling of what happens when you are baptised in the Holy Spirit”. Everyone has a unique experience according to Mairead.
Mairead who has been an Artist for fifteen years, is fortunate to have the capacity to visualise in advance what she wishes to paint on the canvas. Many of her paintings will transport the viewer to experience a broad spectrum of life as it is lived today and also challenge you to draw your own conclusions on what inspired various facets of Mairead’s works.
This particular painting gently facilitates in a very visual manner the feelings of joy, peace and affords the mind an opportunity to explore in the painting how fulfilment can become a reality in life.
Some of the new paintings in the exhibition will take those viewing on a special journey and will generate lots of conversation during the refreshments.
Mairead has also turned to painting scenes for stain glass windows and “it would be wonderful if some of my scenes could be used in the future in churches”.
Everyone is welcome to go along to the launch of the exhibition on Friday night and you can also visit any day during the entire month of May from 9am to 6pm.
Mairead wishes to thank all those who supported her various exhibitions over the years.
