Crafting your Soul, A St. Brigid's Day Retreat.
Saturday 1 February, at Willowbrook Glamping Campground in Ballaghdereen, Co. Roscommon, facilitated by Bee Smith and Morag Donald.
Bee Smith: "Morag and I have long been workshop co-facilitators for over two years now and find our 'two-hander' blend of poetry and art workshops are suitable for all ranges of ability or age. If you have ever wanted to try art, craft or poetry writing we are the people to set you on your journey of self-expression and creativity. We will base our workshops around the Brigid's Day themes of renewal, transformation, and transition.
There is the most wonderful dojo hall at Willowbrook, plus 21 acres of land, a spiral labyrinth and lots of rushes for making St. Brigid's crosses on site!
We convene at 10am in Willowbrook’s dojo hall on the Brigid’s feast day, 1st February. In the morning Bee and Morag will lead you in art and poetry making workshops. After our Bring and Share lunch we will craft our own individual Biddy dolls, St. Brigid’s Crosses and cross through Spring’s threshold under our handmade Brigid’s Girdle."
All materials and light refreshments on arrival are included in the Day Retreat’s ticket price.
