RTÉ and Creative Ireland Programme have come together in partnership to create This Is Art! - a celebration of visual art through the creation of an exciting new online art competition aimed at young people across the island of Ireland. 

The competition aims to promote artistic practice among young people and encourage and support creativity, originality and self-expression. Applicants can enter individually or in groups and all visual art disciplines are welcomed. The competition is open for anyone 18yrs and under. We have extended the deadline to 31st January, due to the recent closures of schools we feel this will give young artists some extra time to prepare some artwork.   We have had a great response from individual applications, but very much would welcome group art work also.
