The County Cavan Library HQ is located on Farnham Street in the centre of Cavan town and occupies the ground floor of the Farnham Centre. Also located in the Farnham Centre and managed by library staff is a multipurpose events space.

The events space is suitable for exhibitions and performances, is fully equipped with an audio visual system and has so far accommodated a range of activities including group and solo exhibitions and installations, dance, literary events and multimedia showcasing.
