Exploring Objects, Inspiring Creativity.

Free 2hr Workshop with artist Julie Corcoran to coincide with her exhibition, Looking for Light, which runs until the 9th August.

When: Saturday 30th July 2022. Time: 10:30am until 12:30pm (exhibition tour beforehand at 10am).

This two hour workshop will explore how we can look at everyday objects as a source of inspiration for creative work. To book your free place email david@iontascastleblayney.ie Julie Corcoran often uses objects as symbols in her photographic work and following a tour of her exhibition, Looking for Light, participants will be invited to engage with objects/props supplied and develop some of their own ideas. This workshop is suitable for all creative types who are interested in developing ideas to tell their own, authentic story. Participants are encouraged to bring a camera or camera phone or even a sketch pad to record their discoveries. A selection of objects will be available on the morning to explore or you can bring something from home to share with the group.
