CULTURE NIGHT 2023
The eighteenth edition of Culture Night will take place on Friday 22nd September 2023. We are looking for artists, cultural organisations, and community groups to get involved across County Cavan.
Culture Night sees thousands of free cultural events take place all over Ireland from 4pm to late!
Culture Night invites everyone, everywhere, on one joyful night to discover and celebrate all that our culture is today. The Culture Night experience is across a wide range of sectors – culture, arts, heritage, education, hospitality, tourism, health, and enterprise. It is a night to celebrate the cultural, artistic, and creative communities of County Cavan by inviting existing and new audiences into arts, cultural and community spaces.
Culture Night is brought to you by the Arts Council, in partnership with local authorities, artists and cultural organisations throughout the island of Ireland.
We encourage and support the inclusion of all voices and cultures that make up Ireland today.
We seek to engage with and create opportunities for increased participation with those who may not always have easy access to events of a cultural nature, particularly but not limited to the following:
• Asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants.
• D/deaf culture or arts and disability.
• Irish traveller culture.
• Under-represented groups.
• Those promoting gender equality.
If you would like to work with Cavan Arts Office co-ordinating this year’s Culture Night programme, please see our application form below:
