Atlantic Technological University (ATU) and Design & Crafts Council Ireland (DCCI) are inviting applications for the first intake of students to the Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Ceramics Skills and Design for September 2026.
This course builds on the highly regarded Level 7 degree delivered by DCCI for many years. It is now a 3-year Level 8 degree and will be delivered in our purpose-built state of the art facility at DCCI Academy Ceramics, opening at the end of August 2026, in Thomastown, Kilkenny.

Accredited by ATU, learners will be taught by industry-experienced lecturers and tutors with expertise in studio ceramics, material exploration, and creative design. The degree will equip graduates with the skills to develop their careers in the ceramics industry in Ireland and internationally.
