Our Cavan artists have arrived home safely from their two week Leonardo da Vinci Mobility exchange in Creative Industries, Tartu, Estonia. All reported a very rewarding trip having gained lots of experience print making and meeting artists from across Estonia.
They worked at the Creative Industries artist’s hub in the centre of this rural Estonian market town. They also met and visited other artists at the Print Museum and participated in Design workshops and printmaking.
Alan D’Arcy a musician and sound expert from Belturbet liaised with local musicians in Tartu and has created some new unique music as result.
Pawel Kleszczewski and Kasia Zimnoch of Konic are hosting a first anniversary exhibition at 61 College Street, Cavan from 26th July.

The group travelled to Estonia as part of the Cavan Arts Office, Developing Creative Practice Across Borders Project funded by Leargas and the European Commission Lifelong Learning Programme; Leonardo da Vinci mobility.
