Cavan County Council Arts Office is offering two candidates the opportunity to work on 'Dakota' by John McArdle and Livin Dred Theatre Company as Assistant Director and Assistant Stage Manager.

The apointed Assistant Director and Assistant Stage Manager will shadow the Director and Stage Manager during rehearsals and for the run. The successful candidates will be paid a nominal remuneration for their time and contribution. Rehearsals will start on Monday 8th November and the play will finish on Saturday 11th December.

The play will rehearse daily in Dublin from Monday 8th to Friday 26th November. It will then have technical and dress rehearsals in Ramor Theatre, Virginia from Sunday 28th November to 1st December. The play will run at the Ramor from Thursday 2nd December to Saturday 11th December for 6 nights.

Duties will include:

• Support Director as required

• Provide research materials

• Maintain show after opening night

• Send show reports to Director and company management

• Support administration team when necessary

• Support Stage Manager

• Source Props and ensure Returns
